Course Aims
This course highlights potential hazards when working on site and provides practical advice on keeping yourself and your colleagues safe. It covers your individual and employer’s responsibilities, including what you can do if you think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.Course Content
• Understand the need to prevent accidents
• Have an understanding of health and safety law
• Identify how their role fits into the control and management of the site
• Understand the need for risk assessments and method statements
• Appreciate the need to perform safely and to stop and ask for advice if not sure
• Feel obliged to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident

Qualifications Obtained
Upon successful completion candidates will receive a CITB Health and Safety Awareness digital certificate, valid for 5 years.Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement is a good understanding of spoken and written English.Any candidate under the age of 18 wishing to take one of the Site Safety Plus courses is required to have the consent of their parent or guardian. Please contact us directly for further information and to obtain a parental consent form.
Additional Information
Please note: On top of this course attendance a successful completion of a Health, Safety & Environmental test will be required to apply for a CSCS Labourers Green Card. You may wish to book this separately for the same day in order to gain all you require for a CSCS Labourers Green Card.There may be a CITB Grant available to support the cost of training.
