Course Aims
This course is designed to train and assess operators in the safe operation of a counterbalance lift truck.Those attending will gain insight and knowledge on the safe use of Rider-operated Lift Trucks. By the end of the course, candidates will be able to identify main components of the Lift Truck, operate the machine safely to a high standard in the working environment and understand current Legislation.

- Pallet handling; picking up, setting down, transporting
- Stacking and de-stacking loads at different heights (Various methods)
- Vehicle loading & un-loading procedures
- Daily maintenance checks
- Satisfactory completion of Practical and Theory based assessment
