Course Aims
Order picker trucks have the capacity to work at various heights, categorised as low (referred to as a LLOP), medium and high. A training course is available for each category but completion of the high level order picker course will equip you to operate all three categories. Completion of the course will give you the skills to operate the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection and recall and discuss the causes of truck and load instabilities.Course Content
- Controls and instruments
- Starting/moving/stopping and steering the machine
- Manoeuvring exercises
- Operation of hydraulic controls
- Replenishing the machine's energy system
- Load handling
