Course Aims

This course will provide candidates with the knowledge of understanding the importance of Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, the Health and Safety Legislation and its impact on the work environment, identify risk assessments and safer working practices in regard to hazards in a construction environment, the consequences of failure of compliance and preparation for CSCS green card assessment.

Qualifications Obtained

Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (Leading to CSCS Green Card) on successful completion of the eLearning course and accredited exam. Please note the accredited exam must be completed within 2 weeks of enrolling in the eLearning course.

This course is recognised by CSCS and is equivalent to 1-day Site Safety Plus Health and Safety Awareness Course.

On completion of the online course & accredited exam, a touch screen Health & Safety test is required and then the CSCS card can be applied for. The touch screen Health & Safety test is separate to this eLearning package (and not included in the price) and can be completed at one of the Sibbald Training test centres or at a Pearson Vue centre.
