This SVQ is suitable for individuals who are currently in employment and who wish to obtain a formal qualification. No prior qualifications are required to undertake this qualification. 

 

Course Aims

The SVQ in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction) at SCQF level 6 / SVQ Level 3 covers areas such as confirming work activities and resources for the work, implementing and maintaining health, safety, environmental and welfare practices, and monitoring progress against work schedules. 

This qualification has been designed by the Construction Sector Skills Council to ensure relevance to the sector.
