Level 3 - VQ Lifting Operations (Crane Supervisor) - MA FUNDED

The Level 3 Vocational Qualification is for a Crane/Lift Supervisor looking to progress their CPCS/NPORS card to full competence status

This course is ideal for

Candidates must have passed the CSCS Health & Safety Test (Within the last 24 months) and must also hold a current valid CPCS trained operative card (RED CARD) in order to begin this VQ.

Course Aims

This is an assessment qualification.
To attain level III S/NVQ qualification in the candidates chosen skilled trade, this award enables the candidate to apply for the CPCS Competent Operator Card (Blue Card)




 

Course Content

  • Supervising lifting operations using lifting equipment in the workplace
  • Maintaining the dimensional accuracy of the work in the workplace
  • Co-ordinating preparation work for site or lifting operations in the workplace
  • Allocating work and checking people's performance in the workplace
  • Developing and maintaining good occupational working relationships in the workplace
  • Maintaining systems for health, safety, welfare and environmental protection in the workplace
  • Co-ordinating and organising the control of work in the workplace
  • Allocating and monitoring the use of plant, equipment or machinery in the workplace
Assessment
These S/NVQ qualifications request the candidate to demonstrate, in a real workplace environment, that candidates are competent against a set of performance statements. Candidates are assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with candidates and help them through the S/NVQ programme.
 

CPCS Card (Blue Competent Operator Card)
This Level III S/NVQ is required to allow application for the CPCS BLUE Card.

Registration and certification fee’s = £93.00 (VAT exempt)
